Psalm 49:9-11

⁹ That he should ^(A)live on eternally,
That he should not ^(B)see ^[a]corruption.

¹⁰ For he sees that even ^(C)wise men die;
The ^[b](D)fool and the senseless alike perish
And ^(E)leave their wealth to others.
¹¹ Their ^[c](F)inner thought is that their houses ^(G)are forever
And their dwelling places ^[d]from generation to generation;
They have ^(H)called their lands after their own names.
